Jack AI Customer Experience Snapshot

Captain Fern Gonzales delivers exceptional Matagorda Bay fishing with consistent limits of trout, redfish, and flounder. Customers regularly catch personal best specks and impressive bull reds up to 38 inches, with one memorable trip producing a small blacktip shark. Fern's expertise shines through both wade fishing and drift fishing techniques, and his deep knowledge of bay systems and seasonal patterns keeps anglers on fish regardless of conditions. Fern creates a laid-back atmosphere while staying completely wired into the fishing action. Customers appreciate his determination to work all day finding fish, his patience with beginners, and his ability to accommodate both novice and experienced anglers. Many clients book repeat trips, praising his friendly personality and willingness to extend trips when the fish are biting.

Fern never fails to put us on the fish and always willing to grind it out. I wouldn’t consider using any other guide in Matagorda
